The price for this trip is £150 per person, based on a couple travelling. Please note that the price per person varies dependent on group size. The larger the group the more cost effective the per-person rate.
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Marrakech at a time of your choosing in the afternoon or early evening and be driven in a 4x4 to Tassa Ouirgane, around 1.5 hours away from the city. Tassa Ouirgane is perched at 1300 metres in the middle of Toubkal National Park. If you travel on a Saturday, you can stop in Asni on the way home to visit the weekly souk. Check into your room and enjoy a tea on the panoramic terrace before your evening meal. Stay up to watch the stars, or enjoy a restful night’s sleep in the peace of the village.
Wake up early to catch the sunrise on the terrace or enjoy a lie in. Whenever you wake up, breakfast will be ready for you. Today is up to you - we have a selection of local activities but if you‘d rather just relax or do your own thing that‘s an option too! This morning you can enjoy a guided walk in the national park, strolling through fields of apricots and peaches and visiting the old hydraulic mill. After lunch, visit the Takherkhort Reserve and take you chance in spotting Barbary sheep or one of the 150 species of birds native to the area. After a cup of refreshing mint tea, watch a presentation and demonstration on making Amazigh tannourt bread freshly cooked al fresco, bread freshly cooked Al fresco, After having your own turn, we will try the bread with locally produced organic olive oil and wild thyme and lavender organic honey. In the evening you are free to stroll around the village, or simply sit and enjoy the calm before dinner.
After breakfast, enjoy a walk, a coffee on the terrace or simply relaxing and taking in the views.ing and taking in the views. You will be picked up late morning for your transfer back to Marrakech, but also have the option to stay for lunch and head home later. If you travel back on a Saturday, you can stop in Asni on the way home to visit the weekly souk.
